Featherweight "More Than a Spa Day"

Do you own the adorable Singer Featherweight?  Singer 221 is the most common, but you may bring your Singer 222K to class as well. If yours is black, tan, celery green, or has that special paint job, bring it in!

Come join us and Tabby will walk you through some Featherweight specific maintenance and rehabs.   I will have exclusive goodies for purchase from The Featherweight Shop so you can pamper yourself and treat your special machine to a facelift.  This machine is not like all the rest, as you know.

Bring your Featherweight sewing machine, foot pedal, accessories, and the case if you have one.  Also bring an old toothbrush, old T-shirt to use for cleaning, an old towel or two that can be soiled, plus your normal tools such as screw drivers you use to maintain your machines at home.  Tabby will go over ways to improve and refurbish or breathe new life into your case as well.  Oiling, lubrication, belt tension, musty odors, case latches, cords, light bulbs and other accessories will be explained and demonstrated in this class   Class fee does not include the replacement parts your machine may need.  This class teaches you how to fully service your machine, forever.

One machine per student for the Spa Day.  If you need consultation on a second machine, that will happen after class or on a break.

Lets plan to have a good time and learn about your Featherweight!!!  Save your space now!!  Hubbys can take the class too!

If you need special parts or have questions concerns, please text, no calls or voicemail please, Tabby Cchampion at 7069055115 or find her on Facebook and private message her.

This is an ALL DAY class-10 - 5.  Don't plan on getting done early. Doesn't your favorite Sewing Buddy deserve it?

Bring a lunch!  Don't get a fresh manicure before class, set your nail appointment for the days after class.

Instructor Bio: Tabby has had a needle in her hand from the age of 3. In addition to her extensive Featherweight knowledge and training, she did alterations and machine embroidery for years and relied on sewing and teaching of fiber arts as her means of supporting her family from 2013 to 2021. She is now a full-time sales rep for Benartex/Kanvas/Contempo and Michael Miler with a 5 state territory. She worked at Sunday Best Quiltworks in Ellerslie, Ga as an instructor first, then in the shop and longarm quilting from 2015 to 2021. Tabby loves handwork of all kinds, especially slow sewing and quilting.
